Kristen Wiig Cuts Her Hair Into a Sleek, Chic New Bob

It’s not quite the remarkable series of wigs she wears in The Spoils of Babylon, but Kristen Wiig showed off an almost equally buzzworthy new look at the L.A. premiere of her IFC series: The actress is now rocking a new sleek, blunt and chin length bob.

Though Wiig has mixed up her hair a bit in the past (she’s been blonde and brunette, straight and wavy) she’s been sporting the same long layers down her back for some time now, so a fresh color and major cut is a big change for her. She showed off a shoulder-grazing chop right before Christmas, but the star seemed to have gotten the haircut bug — her new do is even an inch or two shorter.

RELATED PHOTOS: What did Wiig (and your other favorite stars) wear on the red carpet last night?

We love the star’s naturally loose curls, but her new carefully coiffed look really shows off the rich auburn hue she’s wearing these days, as well as her pretty eyes and delicate cheekbones. In fact, we love it so much, we may just overlook the fact that she didn’t wear that crazy Spoils of Babylon wig on the red carpet. There’s always The Tonight Show.

Do you like Wiig’s new cut? Are you excited for her show? Let us know below!

Maybe it’s just a wiig. Sorry, couldn’t help myself!

She talked about wanting Kelly Ripa’s hair cut when she went on Kelly & Michael. I guess she decided to go through with it. It looks good.

Love it…she looks younger and refreshed!

No one needs to “weigh in” on a person’s hair cut, celebrity or otherwise. People magazine used to be about what individuals accomplished whether famous or not. Now it’s nothing more than a platform to judge people on their physical appearances. It is superficial, juvenile, and dangerous.
