Cameron Diaz Playing Fashion Photographer With Women Of All Shapes and Sizes Will Make Your Day

As if last week’s makeup-free selfie wasn’t enough to make you love her, this disarmingly candid and sweet video of Cameron Diaz playing photographer and cheerleader for a diverse group of women, just released to support her new project, The Body Book, will do the trick.

Diaz’s book, subtitled “The Law of Hunger, the Science of Strength, The Power of Knowledge and Other Ways to Love Your Amazing Body,” is all about what she’s learned about nutrition, exercise, diet and general well-being — as she says in the video, “it’s not a … plan, it’s just information for you to have.” And she supplemented the text with photos she took herself of 40 very different women, which you can see in the video below.

Though showing oneself off from all angles in spandex isn’t many women’s idea of fun, Diaz instantly puts her models at ease, asking them what they love about their bodies and offering fitness and nutrition advice from her own experience. You can see the women warm up as they praise their butts, arms, chests and more — and especially as they giggle along with Diaz while she snaps photo after photo. Diaz’s mission is very serious, though, as she says in a release: “Wake up. Love yourself. Care for yourself. Your body is the most precious thing that you have.”

What do you think of Diaz’s photoshoot? Does it make you excited to check out her book? Let us know in the comments.

Hmmmmmmm… She’s a Cheerleader for a diverse group of women and then she offers fitness and nutrition advice from her own experience. What’s wrong with this picture???

Heeeellllllllllloooooooooo???? Cameron’s book is about taking care of your body, NOT the size of it. You can have a healthy body and not be a size zero or 2 or whatever the Fashion industry, Hollywood and the media try to portray is a healthy body. It is NOT necessarily about size and shape. So yeah, she can give nutrition advice while still being a cheerleader for all women regardless of their clothing size.

This is great, but I didn’t see anyone who was 55 +. If they’re in there then they sure look good lol. Older women need love too.

Ahhh yes…on sale December 31st. Just in time for everyone’s New Year resolution to take better care of their bodies and exercise more. Smart.
