You’ve been busily bookmarking our gift guide, but this December, we’re also going to draw your attention to great gifts that also give back — to the community, to children, to the world around us. Check them out, and share your favorite gifts that give in the comments.

We already knew Julia Roberts had good taste and a big heart. That’s why we weren’t surprised to see the star recently wearing a scarf from one of our favorite brands, which gives back to one of our favorite causes. She was spotted in N.Y.C. with Theodora & Callum’s “Joyful Heart Wearable Art” scarf, a pretty pink-and-red creation that supports Mariska Hargitay’s Joyful Heart Foundation, which helps survivors and victims of domestic and sexual assault and child abuse.

Theodora & Callum is donating 20% of the proceeds from the scarf to the Joyful Heart Foundation’s efforts to bring education, empowerment and joy into the lives of these survivors and to help create global change to eradicate these issues. But besides being a wonderful cause, it’s also just a beautiful scarf — that would look as chic worn with a coat as it does worn on the beach with a sarong (celebs like Jenna Dewan-Tatum love doing that with their T&C creations). Check it out here, and read more about the Joyful Heart Foundation’s mission here.

How are you giving back this holiday season? What’s your charity of choice? Let us know in the comments.
