You’ve already started busily bookmarking our gift guide, but this December, we’re also going to draw your attention to great gifts that also give back — to the community, to children, to the world around us. Check them out, and share your favorite gifts that give in the comments.

The Body Shop has been doing “globally conscious” long before it was cool. We’ve long been fans of their anti-animal testing, pro-fair trade and vegan skincare products and cosmetics. And they’ve never wavered from that do-good ethos — so it’s no surprise that their holiday collection isn’t just aromatic and adorable, it’s also helping to build schools around the globe.

A portion of sales from these stocking-perfect presents (like the $25 Body Butter Lollipop gift set, above) will benefit the communities from which The Body Shop purchases their fair trade products. The shea butter in the luxe tubs comes from the Ghanaian Kuapa Kookoo Company, so the local village of Betenase will soon have a junior high school. Similarly, communities in Honduras, India and Nepal (below) will see modern school spaces built to give their children easier access to education.

Smelling great and doing good — it’s a winning combination. Check out all of The Body Shop’s holiday gifts here.
