So your significant other invited you home for Thanksgiving to meet his parents for the first time. Your first reaction: “Oh my God THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING!” Second reaction: “Dear God, what do I wear?”

We’ve got lots of wardrobe inspiration in Love Her Outfit!. But if you’re already past the clothing crisis and onto hair and makeup, we thought this look on Kirsten Dunst (worn to the Anchorman 2 premiere in Sydney) was perfect “meeting-the-future-in-laws” (too soon?) material.

RELATED: Seven more star-approved beauty looks!

First up: The face. It’s very “done,” but still fresh and pretty. The eyes are bright and glowy (someone’s been following our tips!) and the lipstick is festive but not overdone. You can get a similarly saturated shade with this Maybelline tube in Vivid Rose.

The hair has a similarly polished but low-key look in a sweet, girl-next-door way. Use the Beachwaver, dab a little argan oil on the ends to keep them shiny and in place, and pin back a section with a few bobby pins.

Now all you have to do is help with the dishes and you’re golden. Be sure to check back post-Turkey Day to let us know how dazzled his mom was!
