11/18/2013 at 06:00 AM ET

When we featured a sweatshirt dress a few weeks ago, it flew off the shelves. Which is why we’re bringing you another casual-Friday-appropriate, date-ready, comfy-as-pajamas-but-doesn’t-look-schlumpy item: the lace-panel sweatshirt from B.B. Dakota.

Does it get any better than a cozy, stretchy, flattering, on-trend sweatshirt you can wear just about anywhere? How about a cozy, stretchy, flattering, on-trend sweatshirt with an exclusive discount that brings the price down to $40.80? (Just enter STYLE15 at checkout if you’re a first-time shopper to receive the 15% off.)

We’re even planning to wear this heather-gray-and-cream top to some of our more casual holiday get-togethers. Tucked into a high-waist fit-and-flare skirt, it looks effortlessly cool.

This is a really unflattering top… wearing a lighter color on the shoulder only creates the illusion of having rounded and sloping (clothes hanger) shoulders. The high crew-neck with the small triangular lace inset also flattens the chest making this one of the ugliest tops I’ve ever seen. If the lace inset on the sleeves stopped before the shoulder and the crew was about three inches lower, perhaps then it would look wearable.

I have this shirt. I wouldn’t call it hideous. It actually looks pretty cute on me. My only 2 complaints is that it is more snug in the arms than I’d like. Also, it isn’t a sweatshirt at all. It has the “look” of sweatshirt material, but in actuality it is very thin.
