From Date Night to Brunch, Exactly What to Wear This Weekend

Want to look cute this weekend? Who doesn’t? Our picks for date night, brunch and Monday morning work were designed with maximum flattery and femininity in mind — whether flirty, laid-back or lady-in-charge, there’s no doubting that you’re all woman in these looks.

Saturday night: This Zuhair Murad dress may be one of our favorite Taylor Swift looks of all time: It’s got her signature flirty sparkles and a floral motif, but with a hemline and heels to take it from “sweet” to “sexy” in no time flat. This is a look that’s flattering on almost all body types, and the high neckline counterbalances the mini skirt, making the dress alluring rather than over-the-top. In short: Your date for the evening is going to be tripping all over himself the minute you walk in the door.

Rent a similarly sexy and sequined dress for the evening, but be warned — all eyes are going to be on you all evening, so you may want to perfect your Taylor Swift hair flip before you walk out the door.

Sunday brunch: Um, hello, easiest outfit ever. Lauren Conrad‘s simple and sweet look is the kind of thing you want to always have handy in your closet for those mornings you just cannot think about your outfit too much (which happens to us more often than we’d like to admit). Chambray shirt, girlie midi, and neutral accessories — you can’t do much better than that!

If you don’t already have those pieces in your wardrobe, here are a few we like right now. This Rock & Republic chambray shirt has a tailored fit and is $21.60, and with a sassy faux leather waistband, this $22.80 Forever 21 skirt is a great addition to your wardrobe. Especially since now you have a foolproof outfit for under $50.

Monday morning: If you have your eye on the corner office, you can’t take inspiration from much better than Victoria Beckham, queen of her own fashion and media empire. And she’s not climbing the ladder in shapeless suits and frumpy cardigans, either. She injects high fashion into your standard business look by choosing a cool coat with gold buttons and a ladylike dress with a little movement to it, then adds power pumps.

Add a $38.99 black military-style blazer with gold buttons to your favorite black work dress for a similar hit of style. We’d add red nails to the mix, but that’s your call.

Tell us: Which look will you wear this weekend?
