Hollywood stylists have been working overtime lately to deliver super-short crops to what’s starting to feel like half of Hollywood. The latest short-haired star to turn our head is Think Like a Man‘s Meagan Good, who showed off a flirty pixie at the GQ Man of the Year Awards Tuesday.

So how does she feel now that she’s a couple pounds of hair lighter? “Free!” she tells PEOPLE. “There’s something really sexy about just being able to feel your neck and your jaw … it just feels very freeing and a little rebellious, which I like.”

Hers is a little more rebellious than most, with its shaved sides and longer, piecey texture on top. But it sounds like she was more than ready to make the cut after a few movie roles that required some major hair.

“When I came off of Anchorman [2: The Legend Continues] I had this really, huge curly kind of wig thing,” she says. “Then when I went into Think Like A Man [Too] I cut it a little bit, but I hadn’t gone all the way up. So I was like, ‘You know what? I’ve had it long for so long — I started going that direction, [so] I’m just going to chop it off.'”

What do you think of Good’s super-short cut? Are you glad she’s in the pixie club? Are you convinced you should consider one yet?

I don’t know, I’m not much for the pixie cuts. She looked smokin’ with that long hair.
