The Hunger Games Stars Are Clearly Vying for the 'Best Dressed Cast' Award

Right now you’re probably in the process of re-reading The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in anticipation of the film’s release next week. And if you weren’t about to explode with excitement already, the red carpet fashion parade put on by the cast at the film’s world premiere in London should do the trick.

Unsurprisingly, Jennifer Lawrence made a statement in a silk Dior Haute Couture gown with multicolor embroidery and an asymmetrical draped back. At first, we weren’t sure how we felt about the silhouette of the dress, but from behind it’s a total stunner. Plus, we got our first glimpse of J.Law’s “black tie” pixie cut — a perfectly coiffed mane that showed off her amazing features (and EF Collection jewels).

Elizabeth Banks left the outlandish Effie Trinket dresses behind for a strapless citron Jason Wu gown featuring cutout details on the bodice, plus a Gaydamak handbracelet. She added even more color with a coral lip and kept her hair simple in a low chignon.

And Jena Malone (who plays female competitor Johanna Mason from District 7) selected a fringe-embellished Monique Lhuillier design with a matching red lip and slicked back strands. The actress couldn’t hide her excitement on Instagram, sharing a behind-the-scenes snap before hitting the carpet: “In the car to the world premiere of Catching Fire in London !!!! What an amazing journey it’s been so far. I really just can’t wait for everyone to see this film. I’m really proud of it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!”

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire hits theaters nationwide Nov. 22. Do you have your tickets yet? Whose dress do you like best? Share your thoughts below.

Jennifer, you are such a pretty girl. I pray you stay grounded and not take Hollywood to seriously. I hope you keep being a role model for young girls and showing them that you can be pretty and smart without having to to take your clothes off or acting like you spend 24/7 on the pole.

jena malone used to be really cute. now she looks seriously creepy…like she’s missing her top row of teeth or just something strange…eek.

Gorgeous, but what the heck happened to adorable Jena Malone? She looks stiff and robotic lately.

I still don’t like Jennifer Lawrence’s short hair. She just does not have the right shape face for it.

I love her, i love her style, but I really don’t like the hair.

Wow, super cool dresses! And I’m loving Jennifer’s hair a lot more in this photo.
