Carrie Underwood Changed Outfits How Many Times at the CMAs?

Think the wardrobe department was impressed — or impossibly exhausted? (Maybe a little of both?)
After hitting the red carpet in a sparkly, sheer nude gown (and that oh-so-high hair), the night’s co-host changed into a brown minidress with leg wings (not pictured) to deliver the opening monologue. Next up: equally sparkly Badgley Mischka pants (this is Nashville, after all), a tummy-baring top and blinged-out headband to poke fun at the Miley Cyrus/Robin Thicke excitement of the VMAs. Sure, Carrie sported a foam finger, but we can’t imagine her ever slipping into that nude latex two-piece.
Later in the evening, the singing starlet went a little more business-like in a printed skirt with tulle detail and a complementary jeweled top, both by Alpana Neeraj. However, it was when chatting with Tim McGraw that Carrie really shined, stealing the spotlight in a Grecian-inspired Talbot Runhof silver gown.
The show-stopping look of the night, though, came in the form of a spring 2014 Christian Siriano creation that gave us a peek at those killer stems. Ruffly flower details along the top countered the plunging neckline — after all, she’s a bit more sweet than sexy.
Though Carrie didn’t top last year’s record-breaking 12 outfit changes, her other 2013 looks (including voluminous floral pants, a shortie Chagoury Couture tuxedo and a mod pink, orange and black tummy-baring trapeze dress by Georges Chakra) weren’t anything to scoff at, either. After the fashion show that was the CMAs, we hereby demand she spend all day tomorrow in sweats and sneakers.
Did you have a favorite Carrie look? How would you have dressed the country cutie?
