If you’re mildly obsessed with Grace Kelly’s life/fashion and can’t wait for the biopic starring Nicole Kidman (we’re even considering the Halloween costume), you’re in luck. The Princess of Monaco’s famous wardrobe and other personal items will be on display as part of the new exhibit “From Philadelphia to Monaco: Grace Kelly.”

The display (running from Oct. 28 through Jan. 26, 2014, at the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, Pa.) will feature outfits she wore in various films as well as pieces from her life as a princess, including the Edith Head satin gown she wore to the Academy Awards in 1955 when she nabbed the Oscar for her role in Country Girl.

Another beloved design featured from her closet: the famous La Bayadère chiffon dress by Marc Bohan for Christian Dior featuring a rainbow of pink, yellow and orange shades and gemstone embellishments.

“An exhibition that focuses on the depth and breadth of Grace Kelly’s life is an important acknowledgement of her impact on so many facets of the 20th century,” said Lisa Tremper Hanover, director and CEO of the museum. “Interest in Grace’s compassion, radiance, dignity and individuality has never waned. The Michener Art Museum is eager to honor this spirit.”

Are you a fan of Grace Kelly’s iconic style?

Yet again, basic journalism fails the writers and editors of People. You mention the museum but fail to mention the city in which it’s located.

Shelby,
The James A. Michener Art Museum is in Doylestown, PA. About 45 minutes north of Philadelphia.

I 2nd that Shelby!!! Thank goodness I noticed that one of the Today articles to the right also had an item about the exhibit. Pretty horrible job in writing this article. Oh, and the Today item had a lot more INTERESTING information too.

It says the city and state in the article, 2nd paragraph.

@ Sara. The original article did not say the city or state. It has been edited
