What Is Connie Britton 'Dye-ing' To Do To Her Famous Hair?

10/15/2013 at 05:55 PM ET

We’ve made no secret about how much we love Connie Britton and her amazing hair here at PEOPLE StyleWatch. The Nashville star is fully aware of her her mane’s cult status, but she confesses that she’d ditch it in a minute if she could.

“I’ve always wanted to dye my hair pink,” she tells PEOPLE in the video, above. “This is as close as I can get as long as I’m working, but maybe one day I’ll play a role when I can dye my hair pink!”

She also dishes on the daring Naeem Khan stunner she wore to the Emmys (you know the one) and her killer Nashville wardrobe. “I’ll have a long week, or a long day, and I’ll get to put on this fabulous thing that I get to go out on stage in, and I can’t even believe how lucky I am,” she says. (Make sure to watch to see her all-time favorite outfit she’s gotten to wear so far!)

Another reason we love Britton: She is proudly low-maintenance, which is why she’s a fan of Pond’s just-released Luminous Finish BB+ Cream. “It’s exactly what I need: It’s simple and it’s perfect,” she says. Hey, we’ll take any skincare advice from the ageless star that she’s willing to share. Now about those hair tips…

What do you think — should Britton go pink?
