If you don’t have your Emmys countdown clock handy, that’s okay: We’re here to remind you that TV’s biggest night is Sunday (and you’re going to be here live-tweeting and talking gowns with us, right? Good.). Of course, stars certainly haven’t lost track of time — they’ve been spending all week cleansing, dyeing, deep-conditioning and generally laying low until the big day.

From left, The Vampire Diaries‘ Nina Dobrev will be polishing up with GlamGlow‘s YouthMud and then relying on the line’s BrightMud to eliminate any last-minute dark circles. Christina Hendricks has long relied on Ole Henrickson facials (“My skin glows for two months afterwards,” she raves) to get her porcelain skin in tip-top shape. And Sofia Vergara is a longtime fan of Sonya Dakar’s Apple Stem Cell facial.
Additionally, last year Lena Dunham turned to Simple skincare to scrub and hydrate (and to support pal Allison Williams, the spokesperson for the brand), while this year Connie Britton is all set to use Beautycounter‘s Everyday Hydrating cream to “hydrate skin and prep it for makeup,” according to makeup artist Christy Coleman, who’s making Britton up on Sunday.
We can’t wait to see the way these stars will glow on their big night — and promise to have all the scoop on their beauty looks after they hit the carpet. In the meantime, tell us what’s your favorite way to prep your skin for an event!
The 65th Primetime Emmys will come to CBS Sunday, Sept. 22, at 8/7c. Be sure to check out PEOPLE.com for all the live fashion coverage!
