If you were keeping up with our comprehensive Fashion Week coverage, you would know that there were plenty of looks we definitely will not be borrowing from the runways this upcoming spring. But you also couldn’t blame us for being too antsy to wait to try some of the more accessible looks we saw hit the runway this week.
And since we had a feeling more than a few of you might agree with us, we rounded up the easiest, prettiest and most “do-able” looks we saw at some of our favorite shows. Above, check out the three trends you can try at home, no armies of stylists equipped with hundreds of products required.

Ralph Lauren was all about easy elegance for his all-American show. His models sported that “my hair air-dried in a perfect climate” sheen: Straight and glossy with just a hint of natural bend. Two drops of shine serum, a ceramic dryer and a flat-iron can help you get this look in a snap. We were also loving Monique Lhuillier’s super-saturated bright lips — the hot hue and smudgy outsides lends a little edge to a polished look. And finally, Milly’s “floating” reverse French mani requires absolutely no nail art expertise: A coat of neutral, a coat of white and a steady hand with nail polish remover can help you approximate the look.
Voila! Three incredibly easy, super-pretty beauty ideas that anyone can do. And in addition to looking lovely, you’ll have the extra satisfaction of knowing that you’re way, way ahead of the trends. Now that’s haute.
