If Kelly Osbourne Designed Plus-Size Clothes, Would You Buy Them?

As Kelly Osbourne has steadily become more and more of a fashion presence (hosting E!’s Fashion Police, appearing on red carpets all over the globe, picking a signature hair hue), we figured a celebrity clothing line couldn’t be far off.

What we didn’t expect was that it would be a plus-size-friendly celebrity clothing line.

The star, who famously went through public weight struggles before permanently slimming down in 2010, let slip to Fashionista.com that her upcoming clothing line (surprise! It’s happening!) will be all-inclusive.

“I was having fun but no one takes notice of a fat girl in fashion,” she says of her experiences at a heavier weight. “That’s the truth! It’s sad. That’s why I love women like Beth Ditto who are doing their own clothes. That’s why when my line comes out I’ll never make anything that won’t be translated to plus-size as well. Because everyone deserves to wear fashion.”

She is totally tight-lipped about any details in the interview, confessing only that the line is underway. But we can’t say we’re surprised that Osbourne, who has transformed herself from punk princess to fashion-savvy star, is already planning on fashion world domination.

Tell us: Would you check out Kelly Osbourne’s fashion line? What do you think about her plans to do plus-size?

Thank you Kelly for thinking about the Plus-size women who struggle day to day on what there going to wear, its a tough job to decide what looks good on an plus size women, I’m 5’11” 232 lbs,and still I have trouble in length, waist, sleeves. its crazy but the truth. I support your Plus-size line and if you need a model I’m available.

I would be interested to see what she’ll offer. Being a former plus-sized woman and having a Mom who was also plus-sized; she has a background and understands what we need and what is and (hopefully) what is NOT flattering. I enjoy most of her fashions even though I’d tone it down for my lifestyle. :) Good for her! I hope she’s a huge success! For all sizes!!

I think it’s fantastic that Kelly has found her niche! I can’t wait to see her clothing line and knowing a BBW, like me will be able to wear them is great!

I just hope that she uses plus size women with real plus size figures unlike the plus size catologs I get. I look forward to seeing her fashions.

If the clothes looked stylish, fit properly and were affordable does it really matter who designed them?

I like some of her things. I’d buy them if the price was right.

Will I buy them? That depends on who will be making these clothes. Will they be made overseas by child laborers? Will they be made by women who are paid pennies and must support their families? It all depends. If these clothes are made ethically and responsibly, I’m definitely open to seeing what she has to sell.

No. I can’t stand what she wears on fashion police and I often disagree with her opinions on what others wear. I prefer a classic non trendy look which I doubt will be what Kelly produces.

I would NOT buy any of her Plus-Size clothes because she has made extremely rude comments regarding Christina Aguilera’s weight (yeah, I know Christina did it to Kelly & she was wrong as well). Kelly is part of the “Fashion Police” and does nothing more than make fun of, judge & ridicule people. When young girls watch “Fashion Police” they see how people are being made fun of for their weight & that sends a VERY negative message to these young girls which could lead to serious eating disorders for fear of being bullied/taunted for not fitting into that “perfect” idea that the entertainment industry (including the “Fashion Police”) has horribly created.

KELLY OSBOURN IS SUCH A TALENTED AND ARTISTIC YOUNG LADY THAT I WOULD FEEL 100% COMFORTABLE WEARING HER LINE. I’M NOT PLUS SIZE BUT HAVE FAMILY THAT IS SO I WILL BE SHOPPING HER LINE WHEN IT COMES OUT. CAN’T STAND THE KHARDASHIAN DRAMA AND CLOTHING LINE, THEY’RE TOO CONCEITED (EXCEPT KHLOE) AND ONLY THINK OF THE SLINKY LOOK. WHERE’S THE CLASS? KELLY HAS CLASS!!!!!!
