I’m a bit confused- the center stone is not even a diamond? Personally that would disappoint me, but if she’s happy with it..

ProudAmericanWoman – “not even a diamond”?

Since when do engagement rings HAVE to be diamonds??

I have friends who don’t like diamonds and their engagements rings are all beautiful – whether they be sapphires or opals.

I don’t care much for diamonds myself and here’s hoping that whomever I marry keeps in mind my personal taste, rather than bow down to societal demands that his fiance wears a diamond.

GuesT – Miranda’s post seems rather mature compared to some “grown up” thinking a childish “Yuck!” is a great contribution.

@smith.liz, it’s not the same one Katie Holmes had. Katie’s ring was all diamonds, while this one the large center stone is rose quartz crystal. Big difference.

It reminds me of Blake Lively’s ring, its feminine and lovely!
