Jennifer Garner is one classy lady, which is why we were excited to find out that the rumors were true: She’s the new face of the equally classy Max Mara.

The collaboration marks Garner’s first time as the face of a fashion brand, as well as Max Mara’s first celebrity spokesperson, according to WWD.

In the photos, Garner poses for photographer Mario Sorrenti wearing a luxe camel coat and Max Mara’s new statement handbag, the JBag, of which she’s now a big fan. “I like the size of the JBag,” Garner said in a statement. “I like that it’s big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it’s small enough that you won’t lose your keys!”

She also said that she’s a natural fit for the Italian fashion house. “My style is pragmatic,” she said. “I like to wear garments that have a real luxurious texture and feel good against the skin.”

And the line’s chairman Luigi Maramotti agreed, telling WWD, “Jennifer Garner is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet, and she has different interests, a family and values. She is a real woman and embodies the Max Mara woman, she perfectly reflects our image.”

She is a pretty woman and a great hands on mom. She has the prettiest dimples. Ben is a lucky guy.

It’s about time! She’s a lovely down home girl with a level head on her shoulders and she wears clothes beautifully.

There’s nothing remotely attractive about her, and there never will be.

AMAZING on

She is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

No offense to Jennifer but her everyday fashion is very dumpy and off putting and sometimes ill-fitted, not practical, just ordinary. Her red carpet fashion sense is bought and paid for; it’s someone else’s handy work, so she can’t clam that.

But good for her. lol

I love Jennifer Garner as a person, but I really don’t think she’s attractive enough to pull off a high fashion label campaign. Maybe something like Gap or Old Navy, but this is not a good fit.

I adore Jennifer Garner. She is the girl next door and really seems like someone you could be friends with. I love how she and Ben are so down to earth and humble and have no ego what so ever.

Plus, I love her and Ben together as a couple and as an actor/actress in their own right.

I have never heard of this brand before, but I will definitely Google it to learn more.

There’s no fantasy to Jennifer Garner’s image. I think the allure of fashion, particularly in the accessories department (which is financially more accessible than haute couture) is buying a piece of the label’s fantasy. She seems like a nice person and I am in awe of what a great job she does keeping her family life normal in Hollywood. But she can’t sell me anything because she is so normal. That’s in no way meant to be a criticism of Jennifer’s image. Normal is good- it’s just not fashion.
