Seen Eva Mendes out and about lately? You may have noticed that she’s got a new summer wardrobe formula.

It appears to be one part headscarf (her secret for bad hair days), one part statement sunglasses and a liberal helping of head-turning prints.

The star has hit the streets in a pair of red, white and blue swirled Tbags Los Angeles pants and a Michael Stars nautical striped tank, plus a turquoise necklace, then a pair of chevron Parker pants, a geometric-print tee and a coral necklace. Recently, she recycled the same bright necklace with a button-up playsuit that did all the print-mixing for her, combining abstract blue roses with a zig-zag motif.

Certainly these looks are head-turning (bordering on wacky) but we’ve got to say, Mendes is pulling them all off with panache. Though we have to issue a warning: Fashion amateurs, do not try this at home.

Tell us: What do you think of Mendes’s bold outfits? Which is your favorite?
