Lucy Hale Is the New Beauty Ambassador for Mark Cosmetics -- and We Have an Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Pic!

06/11/2013 at 10:30 AM ET

The Pretty Little Liars star is following in the footsteps of Lauren Conrad and Ashley Greene and becoming the latest beauty ambassador to mark cosmetics, the brand announced today.

“I’m incredibly proud to partner with a brand that is as passionate about empowering women as I am,” Lucy Hale says of her new role. “I’ve been a fan of mark’s products for years, but it was important to me to work with a brand that is truly about beauty on the inside and the outside.”

Hale herself certainly has the whole “beautiful inside and out” thing covered (the exclusive behind-the-scenes photo below, from a mark photo shoot, can attest to the latter), which is why we’re not at all surprised mark partnered with her.

The actress will also serve spokesperson for the m.powerment campaign, mark’s effort focused on breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence against young women.

“Lucy embodies our mission of empowerment and what it means to make your mark on the world,” said Meg Lerner, Global President of mark. “We’re thrilled she’s joining us in time to celebrate our 10th birthday.”

Tell us: do you think the actress is a good fit for the brand?
