Tabatha's Takeover: Jennifer Lopez's Outift Looks Like a Halloween Costume

We all know Tabatha Coffey, Bravo’s sharp-tongued Aussie style pro, from her newest show, Tabatha Takes Over, which is in its fifth season! And now, she’s bringing her talents online, joining us at PEOPLE StyleWatch each week to dish on some of the bestand worst – celebrity looks of the week. Keep in mind the opinions below belong solely to the stylist … though she’s probably saying what lots of you are thinking, anyway!

Oh look, it’s Jenny from the Block. Um, more like Jenny from the Swamp! Ick, ick, double Crocodile Dundee ick. Hid-e-ous is a nice way of describing this outfit. It looks like a crocodile wrestled a spider’s web and the croc won. Just looking at this makes me think Halloween costume, Elvira, and WTF were you thinking. It’s too much, too heavy, and it looks like the croc is wearing you, you’re not wearing it.

On a positive note, I love the clutch and shoes. And I’m absolutely swooning over her hair color and style. Her highlighted hue is a nice transition from spring to summer, and the wavy layers really accentuate the color placement.

Hey Jennifer, check out the step and repeat behind you. See how it says, “Chime for Change”? All I can think is “Time for Change.”

Where are those Brady Brunch kids when you need them to sing a diddy?

I don’t like Jennifer Lopez. She appears cheap and easy.
And Joseph is right, she can wear whatever she wants…but she is still cheap and easy.
She has been married how many times and continues to go after the boy toys. Get some counselling before you mess up your children totally!!!

She’s wearing a garbage bag

Look at Tabitha, then look at Jlo. Tabitha is rude and has no room to talk about fashion, really. As for all the people commenting, you only wish you could look like Jlo on her worst day. I’m not a big fan of hers, but I do have eyes.

What does Tabitha know about fashion? All she wears is black. She has no business critiquing anyone’s fashion. She need to just stick to what she knows and thats Hair.

@Ken…Actually she doesn’t need to try at all, she gorgeous no matter what she wears. Sounds like you may be jealous that you’re not her “boy toy”. And last, but not least, She’s a great Mom and very “hands on” who is mostly always her children…as much as any working parent….there’s nothing “Pathetic” about her.

I agree with your stylist- this dress is not great on Jlo at all. I thought we were wearing summer dresses? this looks like a bad winter day.

I think JLo is a beautiful woman, but this is not her best outfit. It is wrong for summer, too dark, too long, etc.

Just and only Jennifer Lynn Lopez for me for good.

I agree with Tabatha. The outfit is more appropriate for a Halloween party. JHo also needs to accept her age and dress appropriately.

Jana on

I like the outfit. I think she looks really pretty.
