Tabatha's Takeover: Jennifer Lopez's Outift Looks Like a Halloween Costume

We all know Tabatha Coffey, Bravo’s sharp-tongued Aussie style pro, from her newest show, Tabatha Takes Over, which is in its fifth season! And now, she’s bringing her talents online, joining us at PEOPLE StyleWatch each week to dish on some of the bestand worst – celebrity looks of the week. Keep in mind the opinions below belong solely to the stylist … though she’s probably saying what lots of you are thinking, anyway!

Oh look, it’s Jenny from the Block. Um, more like Jenny from the Swamp! Ick, ick, double Crocodile Dundee ick. Hid-e-ous is a nice way of describing this outfit. It looks like a crocodile wrestled a spider’s web and the croc won. Just looking at this makes me think Halloween costume, Elvira, and WTF were you thinking. It’s too much, too heavy, and it looks like the croc is wearing you, you’re not wearing it.

On a positive note, I love the clutch and shoes. And I’m absolutely swooning over her hair color and style. Her highlighted hue is a nice transition from spring to summer, and the wavy layers really accentuate the color placement.

Hey Jennifer, check out the step and repeat behind you. See how it says, “Chime for Change”? All I can think is “Time for Change.”

Where are those Brady Brunch kids when you need them to sing a diddy?

She looks great. Jlo is really beautiful. She can wear whatever she wants, no matter what it is… she will always look the best.

I love jlo but I don’t like this look. Looks old.

She tries way too hard. Act your age Jlo. Your pathetic with you boy toy and outfits. Go home and take care of your kids.

Tabatha rocks!!

I don’t think it’s THAT bad but it’s not season appropriate. This may be a dead of winter outfit but NOT for JUNE???

Love her outfit, head to toe. As others stated before on this site, who is this woman to be sharing fashion advice? She’s not wearing a black yurtenrck with short bleached hair, so I guess shes not on board. How about next time you grab a Bravo-lebrity with taste ( Brad Goreski, the guys from Decades,…)

Who is Tabatha to give style advice? The woman looks like an alien and never wears anything other than black herself. I detect a bit of jealousy.

I agree with Tabatha!

Resorting to the “she’s just jealous!” cliche is really getting old. ‘Pathetic’ might be a better description. I have no idea what Tabitha looks like and I don’t really care. Her style “advice” is not always the correct one, in my opinion, but she’s entitled to it. As for Ms. Lopez there…well, yes, she definitely is trying too hard. The problem with that, though, is that she often hits the mark dead on! lol. She looks great (except when she’s standing next to her oldest son, oops! boyfriend). Her singing is not the best, so she kinda has to rely on looking awesome, to keep the money flowing in. Gotta give her credit where it’s due; she looks amazing!

whatever on

J-Low is so 1999
