Tracy Anderson’s high-energy, calorie-torching march towards world domination continues. She’s following up her fitness/beauty multiplex with another new endeavor: a meal delivery service.

The Food Program by Tracy Anderson (which launched in L.A. in April but will go national on June 1) was developed by the celebrity trainer to complement her intense workout method, loved by Gwyneth Paltrow and Kim Kardashian.

In fact, Anderson tells PEOPLE, Paltrow (herself a cookbook author) was “instrumental in helping create the program,” and loves the plan’s salmon with yogurt-mint dressing. But there’s a key difference between their approaches to food: “She’s in the kitchen to make things taste insanely amazing and I’m in the kitchen getting weight off of people.”

And she has a celeb fan who appreciates her approach: Jennifer Lopez. “She’s been on it now for about two weeks, and she loves it, she keeps ordering it,” Anderson says. “She’s not somebody who usually diets at all … [but] she needs the convenience. I’m so happy that somebody like that loves it because she has access to whatever food she wants.”

The plan isn’t cheap — it starts at $54.95 per day for a 14-day supply — but it is healthy, and Anderson promises results. “People are definitely going to lose weight,” she says. “They can lose stubborn weight on this and they can lose hundreds of pounds on this as well.”

And one more promise from her: “All the desserts are delicious!”

Want to test that out? Visit her website to preorder your meal delivery plan. And tell us: What do you think of Anderson’s latest endeavor?

This says $54 for a 14 day supply its actually $54 per day for a 14 day plan, meaning 14 days is over $900

Alaya on

Just to clarify: It’s $54.95 PER DAY, based on a 14-day supply. That’s just under $1000 for that 14-day supply.

$1000 for 14 days? Wow!

Good catch, clarified that!

I'll stay chubby on

Who the heck can afford that? RIDICULOUS!

SUPERNU on

800 calories a day and 3 hours of daily exercise, but that’s a whole lot of money for meals!

Pam on

No normal person can afford that! I can go grocery shopping for a full 6 months for 2 people for the amount of a 14 day supply of this food. And I can eat just as healthily doing that. No thanks!

I love gwyneth and think she’s a motivator. I swear by the Tracy Anderson Mat DVD, even when approached “lazy style” (me) its genius (though as genius as tonique). I think the overarching message of TA and GP is: work hard, don’t complain, commit, it isn’t easy but it is rewarding. And that’s the truth of weight loss/super hot body. Sorry. However, $900 a week for small bits of food???? That’s ridiculous. If you have that money, TA/GP should show you stock tips, worthy charities, and smart savings programs instead. 800 calories a day should cost you $54 a week. They ought to re-work this…..

Tracy is a theif with her food program! $$$$ However, i do like her workouts. She is looking way to skinny. Her lace top is hanging on her she has no curves..

$54 a day is more than what most people spend in a week. Clearly for the 1%, not us 99%ers.
