Met Gala 2013: Five Stars Who Changed for the Afterparty
If we somehow got into a custom couture number, you’d better believe we’d never take it off. (We’re picturing that scene from Friends with Monica, Phoebe and Rachel all wearing wedding dresses — anyone?)
But that’s just one way we differ from these five stars, who were among the crowd that ditched their glamorous Met Gala red carpet gowns for something a little easier to dance in at the Met Gala afterparty at N.Y.C.’s Top of the Standard. Amanda Seyfried slipped out of her Givenchy Haute Couture gown into something a lot more comfortable: a silkscreen graphic tee and polka-dot flat sandals.
Sienna Miller ditched her studded Burberry leather jacket for something less likely to put someone’s eye out: a shredded Union Jack tee and black jeans. She kept her awesome Eddie Borgo tiara, though.

Anne Hathaway not only switched out her fur-cuff vintage Valentino for something short, sweet and swingy, but she also combed her brand-new platinum strands into a brand-new hairdo.

Ashley Greene maintained her Marchesa connection but swapped her very formal gold-embroidered gown for a festive, sari-print short dress.
Jessica Paré planned ahead, choosing a short one-shoulder dress (also by Jason Wu) that perfectly matched her dramatic eye makeup.
