First Look: See a Stunning Sketch of Heidi Klum's Marchesa Met Ball Gown
Heidi Klum is never one to shy away from a theme party. (This is the same woman who bedazzled her entire face to transform into Cleopatra for her Halloween costume last year.) So we’re a bit surprised she’s wearing a gray satin draped Marchesa gown for this year’s punk-themed Met Gala.
We expected the Project Runway judge to go all out — studs, spikes, leather, lace — but instead she looks like a goddess in the embroidered, corset top creation with a dramatic fishtail skirt as seen in this exclusive sketch from the designer. And of course, the look hugs Heidi’s supermodel frame in all the right spots — giving her some serious décolletage.
She accessorizes with a Marchesa feather and crystal embroidered handbag.
Tell us: Are you a fan of Heidi’s couture confection? Or should she have traded feathers for spikes?
