Which Wedding Gowns Should Celeb Brides-to-Be Wear? We Pick Three
New York Bridal Week just passed (you may have seen our Tweets, Instagrams and Vines — like the one at the bottom of this post). And because we’re always thinking about celebrity style, we spent equal amounts of time daydreaming about ourselves in bridal couture as we did thinking about which star brides-to-be should sport some of our favorite looks. Below, see our picks for Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and Miley Cyrus.
Jennifer Aniston: We’ve already had lots of thoughts on what Aniston might wear down the aisle when she weds Justin Theroux, but we’d like to add another to the list: This stunning Carolina Herrera gown with delicate floral embroidery.
Though we have our money on Aniston choosing Dior or Valentino (two of her favorite designers), we’ve been begging her to venture outside her comfort zone — and we stand by our story.
Herrera’s design is in line with the simple, classic styles the actress tends to favor, and the fitted, strapless bodice will show off her tiny waist and toned arms. Seems like a no brainer to us!

Angelina Jolie: We’ve envisioned plenty of non-traditional gowns for Jolie, from all-black to pantsuits.
But something about Vera Wang’s latest collection, which featured lots of gothic, dramatic accents (think: black tulle and leather) really said “Angelina” to us.
This look to the left is drop-dead simple (perfect for the no-fuss mom of six) and perfect for her slim figure, but the leather gloves give her that touch of edginess we know she still has.
Since the last wedding dress rumor went unconfirmed, we’re crossing our fingers for a Jolie/Wang collaboration … that involves little leather gloves for all the flowergirls as well.

Though she threatened to have 30 wedding dresses at February’s Marchesa show, she did admit that the design house was a front runner.
So we looked to their bridal runway for a dress worthy of Cyrus’s stems that also had that rocker vibe she’s going for these days. All she has to do is add studded six-inch heels to make this lace-trimmed high-low dress her own.
Check out our killer view of Oscar de la Renta’s show, below, then tell us: Which gown do you like best? Which would you wear?
