Earth Day Style and Beauty: Here's What to Wear
NPG; Splash News Online; AKM-GSI
How are you celebrating this Earth Day? If you’re anything like these celebs, you’re doing it in style. Being eco-friendly is hugely on-trend in Hollywood, so we wanted to spotlight some of our favorite green celebs — and the lines they love.
Jessica Alba (left) has gotten tons of wear out of her Pylo jeans, which use fewer chemicals and water in their wash process. Emmy Rossum is one of many stars spotted in H&M’s “Conscious” collection, recently wearing a $17.95 blouse made from recycled polyester. And Anne Hathaway swears by Stella McCartney’s vegan bags; she’s worn items like McCartney’s “Falabella” tote for ages.
For jewelry, stars including Selena Gomez adore Lisa Hoffman’s eco-friendly fragrance beads. Cameron Diaz wears recycled metal jewelry from Kyler by Joy O. And just this weekend, Naomi Watts was seen in Monique Péan’s sustainable pieces.
And on the beauty side of the spectrum, you can treat yourself to green products from lines like Tarte (Zooey Deschanel’s a fan, and we can’t get enough of their Lipsurgence pencils). Mila Kunis loves Josie Maran’s pure argan oil to add shine to her hair. Plus, spruce up your face and vanity with an Earth-friendly Kiehl’s cream in an Alanis Morisette-designed package, which supports recycling in schools.
