Michelle Williams's 'In-Between' Hair Length: What Do You Think?

Since Michelle Williams announced that she’s growing out her pixie cut, we’ve been eagerly waiting to see how she’d deal with that growing-out phase that stars from Michelle Obama to Krysten Ritter have all dreaded.

And at the Kate Young for Target launch event last night, we had our answer: She’s handling it with attitude!

After a few years of going gamine, pairing her Mia Farrow-esque crop with ’60s-inspired trapeze dresses and boxy coats, the star seems to be adapting to her new, more punk-y mid-length look. Her deep-parted hair, worn combed over with pieces falling loose, looked fierce against her dotted sheer bodysuit and shorts from stylist Young’s Target collection.

If she’s having any grow-out angst, it didn’t show: Williams sported a wide smile at the launch, and rocked the heck out of her funky outfit.

Tell us: What do you think of her new look?

Carina, by growing her hair out she’s not trying to keep his memory alive anymore? How does that make sense? Her hair is not what kept his memory alive, it’s HER hair. On another note, I don’t like it but she’s always beautiful. One question though, how is this going to help it grow out during the awkward stage?

Just come out of the closet already

Very cute, although the long hair hanging in her face looks irritating.

she needs to grow her hair long, she is not a natural beauty and can’t carry off any hair length

I love it! She pulls that off great. I wish I had the guts. . .

As someone who struggles with letting her hair grow out (it’s just so heavy and requires so much maintenance!) I love seeing what other people do to get through the awkward growing out phases. She looks cute!

It’s great – you get the short with a bit of long feel at the front of the face, which is more flattering than short all over I think for women. Looks sexy for short hair.

I love it! It reminds me of the “punk” style we had in the 80s. So fun!!

Wow some of you on here are definitely the definition of ‘catty women’. You can say you don’t like it on her and leave it at that. I realize everyone has their opinion but to be so outwardly rude simply for that sake says a lot about you.
