See Michelle Obama's Second 'Vogue' Cover

Barack Obama has already said that he has a lot in common with Jay-Z (noting they both have daughters and wives more popular than themselves). Now in the April issue of Vogue, he’s comparing wife (and the magazine’s cover star) Michelle to Beyoncé.

Why? Because she’s glad that his high-powered job required him to get more suits and lose the pair of khakis he’s had since he was 20. “Michelle’s like Beyoncé in that song,” he jokes. “‘Let me upgrade ya!’ She upgraded me.”

Also on his style team: daughters Malia, 14, and Sasha, 11. “The girls and I are always rooting when he wears, like, a stripe,” Michelle says. “They’re like, ‘Dad! Oh, you look so handsome. Oh, stripes! You go!’”

President Obama isn’t the only one whose style has changed over the course of his administration; case in point, Michelle’s hair is definitely different than it was on her first Vogue cover in 2009.

But her style philosophy remains the same: “I always say that women should wear whatever makes them feel good about themselves,” she says. “That’s what I always try to do.” And with a second Vogue cover under her belt, it appears to be working for her! For more from the President and First Lady, visit Vogue.com and pick up the new issue, on newsstands March 26.

Seriously? I am so sick of this family. FOCUS on this country and not being celebrity. Seriously…

You can sure pick out the brainless Republicans. LMAO!

Inspiring America? More like bankrupting America. Very disturbing that so many Americans have their heads buried in the sand. Better wake up soon people before it’s too late!

@ April – All America’s problems?? Like what, unemployment’s at a 4 year low (lower than when Bush was president), the housing market is booming, and the Dow hit 14000 (1st time since 2007). Why can’t you acknowledge anything that goes right? It’s always “the country is collapsing!” Your statements are bull and you know it!

I love the Obamas, they are so down to earth and accessible. It does not pay to take oneself too seriously and they have shown that a person can be in the highest office in this country and still maintain some common sense. Way to go Mrs. Obama.

Looking good Mrs. Obama.

First, you crashed the Oscar, now fashion. Are you in the right mind? Oh, I forgot, you were trying to be celebrities instead of servicing the country!

Why do they always crave the limelight Hollywood style? These are our President & First Lady. The leaders of our great country. A little dignity please. Fun is fun but enough is enough.

@Sam, you’re absolutely right! I stated her waist was photoshopped and another poster made a snarky response to my post. I agree, she’s at a great weight and promotes health, she should have insisted she not be photoshopped to look pencil thin.

She looks great! :-) Its a magazine people… CHILL OUT!!!
