Victoria's Secret Model Karlie Kloss: 'You Can Be Sexy With Short Hair!'

She’s a runway staple and a Victoria’s Secret model, so Karlie Kloss knows a little something about hair and makeup — and whether she prefers avant-garde fashion show makeup or the lingerie line’s signature smolder.

“[I love] the sexy ‘guy-hot’ make up, c’mon!” she tells PEOPLE at a party for the Victoria’s Secret 2013 swim launch. “[It makes me] feel beautiful, confident and sexy, [whereas for] the runway I probably have my eyebrows bleached, you know? It’s refreshing for me to be a part of something where you do feel beautiful and confident and sexy.”

Also making her feel all those things: love Josh Kushner, a.k.a. Ivanka Trump’s brother-in-law. And she appreciates that he’s “so not in fashion. It’s really refreshing to leave all the fashion shows and shoots and chaos totally behind.”

Chaos, including chopping off her hair the day before walking in the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last fall. “I kind of got in the dog house a little bit,” she says, “but they have been the biggest supporters of it.”

And don’t look for her to rock bombshell extensions in her shoots: the bob is here to stay. “It’s an honor to be the first Victoria’s Secret girl with short hair.” she says. “There are girls out there with every body type and there are girls out there with every hair type. You can be sexy with short hair!” And Kloss is the living proof.

Tell us: Do you like Kloss’s short cut? Would you rock a bob?

Well I am so glad to have confirmation from some model that short hair is sexy. (Eye Roll). Sexy is a feeling not a look.

her short hair in the commercials is a breath of fresh air, a beautiful face is more shown/out there, without all the hair; linda evangelista proved this point back in the nineties, she was the only sm with short hair and worked constantly!

Thumbs down to angels with short hair.

I love Karlie she’s so beautiful. I love how she can rock both the long and short hair!

I always thought girls can be sexy with short hair (including ur face shape) I don’t need a model to be “living proof” that girls can rock the bob… i had that cut for 3 years, only thing i missed was doing differant styles with ur hair.
Sometimes i don’t like how they word things example “You can be sexy with short hair! and Kloss is living proof” Common… most of us knew that before this young lady rocked it. which she looks cute with that style.

This a must see. Google the term “HUGE SLICK SECRET” and go to the top site. Click on their REFINANCE page to see what the rich are hiding from all of us.

She’s not the first Victoria’s Secret Angel to chop off her hair. Selita Ebanks in 2008 walked the runway with her hair short, a very sleek Chanel-like bob.

Timmy on

Short hair for Victoria’s, is it new stytle?

NM on

Umm she’s not the first angel to have short hair, Selita Ebanks was. love karlie but selita rocked a much sexier bob at the 2008 show
