Forget Who Won 'The Bachelor' — Who Had the Best Dress?

03/12/2013 at 09:00 AM ET

Bachelor Sean WinnersDave Hagerman/ABC (2)

Sean Lowe had a difficult decision to make during the Bachelor finale Monday night. But for those of us not picking which girl to propose to, we had our own challenging choice: Which contestant’s dress was prettiest, Lindsay Yenter’s or Catherine Giudici’s?

Second-place finisher Yenter appropriately wore a silver lamé David Meister gown with beaded shoulders. Lowe told her how beautiful she looked in the plunging, fitted look before telling her how hard it was to send her packing.

And Lowe’s new fiancée, Giudici, took the gold (and went home with a brand-new, 3-carat Neil Lane ring) in her shimmering one-shoulder creation, also by David Meister. It looked especially dramatic riding into the Thai sunset on the back of an elephant.

No matter what you thought of Lowe’s decision, you must have an opinion on which finale dress was best. So tell us: Whose gown did you prefer, Catherine’s or Lindsay’s?

Both Lindsay and Catherine’s dresses were pretty but I would have loved to see them in custom-made far-east-style, exotic gowns made by local seamstresses, for the grand finale. After all, they were in Thailand!

Donna on

Both gowns are unattractive.

Catherine FOR SURE. From top to bottom the dress was a perfect fit and super flattering! Lindsay needed an alteration on the top, and a size bigger on bottom.

I’m just wondering why these women couldn’t even style their hair or get someone to do it for them! Both of them have messy hair (and not in a good way!)

Both dresses were fine, but why didn’t they do something with that long string hair, why is that women think long hair is so great, it is either flat to their head or pull up into a messy
knot on top of their head.

LYNDSAY’S GOWN WAS THE BEST.

Snowbird on

I didn’t like either of them.

Both dresses were pretty but Catherine wore hers better. Linsay’s dress just didn’t fit her body.

Eli on

That dress makes Catherine look wide, which she clearly is not. I can’t even see the other dress.

Neither. Those metallic gowns are both cheesy looking! They could have had gorgeous gowns made in Thailand of beautiful silks and beading. These look like Forever 21 reject prom dresses! It’s actually one of my main takeaways from the episode.
