Tabatha’s Takeover: Kim Kardashian’s Maternity Look Could Be Worse … I Guess!

We all know Tabatha Coffey, Bravo’s sharp-tongued Aussie style pro, from her stint on Shear Genius and her latest hit, Tabatha Takes Over. And now, she’s bringing her talents online, joining us at PEOPLE StyleWatch once weekly to dish on some of the best – and worst – celebrity looks of the week. Keep in mind the opinions below belong solely to the stylist … though she’s probably saying what lots of you are thinking, anyway!

Today, she takes on Kim Kardashian, who wore a Matrix-inspired look to run errands this week:

Oh look, it’s another photo of Kim Kardashian. Can you tell I’m absolutely thrilled? Cue sarcasm.

The good news is, she’s not wearing a horribly ridiculous outfit that’s begging for a verbal lashing. I actually don’t mind what she has on. Honestly, it’s better than what I’ve seen her in recently.

What I don’t like is the length of that sheer Elvira witchy-like layer that is covering her shoes. It is horrible! I bet I would have less of a problem with it if it hit right above the knee. It would actually reveal those strappy heels I’m curious to see in full view. Accessories are tame, not overkill.

As far as her hair and makeup go, I feel like the braid and the nude pallette works for her. When she wears globs of makeup I just want to pin her down and give her a good washing with some disposable wet wipes.

Her defined, sculpted brows really flatter her eyes, and I love the nude lip color and the slight cheek tint. From the neck up, she looks great. From the neck down, it’s better than what we’ve seen in the past.

Oh, and for the record, if you can wear leather pants while you’re pregnant then you do NOT have a “baby bump” that requires exaggerated exposure or concealing. Remember that, Kim. I’m onto you.

She seems to wear what kanye wears black white or black and white or cream or all white.Boring colors seems like she’s listening to kanye on what she should wear. Her boobs look huge and she already has a big boob.

I’m not sure how big or tall Kim is but for 4 months (or so) of pregnancy she looks absolutely huge. The bigger she gets the more a mess all of these peek-a-boo lace/leather outfits are going to look. Maybe Heidi Klum can hook her up with her mommy-to-be stylist : ) Heidi always looks fab when she’s pregnant.

Tabitha is being too kind this week. Kim’s wardrobe has been a wreck ever since Kanye took over and “revamped” it. She looks a like a fool everywhere she goes lately, pregnant or not. She needs to take control of her style choices once again or hire a stylist. She’s a wreck.
