See Jennifer Lawrence’s First Campaign Ads for Miss Dior

Yeah; what’s with the photoshopping? Jeez, they know how to piss off her fans and her.

This is really outrageous. Jennifer Lawrence is soooo beautiful, there was no need to photoshop everything about her. She doesn’t look like herself in these photos at all. And she is much more beautiful that they made her look on this photos, these pics don’t do her justice. I am also angry that they apparently felt the need to brush away 25 pounds.

She looks beautiful but she’s way prettier than this. I think the photography and make-up/hair style are poor for something so big like Dior.

Have to agree with other commenters. She is photoshopped and smoothed out so much, it does not look like her at all. Too bad.

Why did they have to make her look like Rooney Mara in the top purse picture??

I felt the same way about the recent Miss Dior perfume shots with Natalie Portman. Pretty girl but they photoshopped the heck out of her face, virtually erasing her beauty marks. Why?

Does anyone else think she looks like Megan Fox in the top right one?

there is such a thing as over-editing (photoshop) and this is a prime example! another natural beauty made to look completely alien for marketing purposes.

They have photoshopped her! Even the arms do not look like hers! She is supposed to be refreshingly curvy and naturally pretty! And they CHANGE THAT!

They made her moles disappear and gave her the appearance of a waif. Doesn’t make me feel like running to the Dior boutiques anytime soon.

Love, love love her. She is classy and a bit of a clown. She is so unhollywood and a true breath of fresh air. She is unpretentious and has the ability to makes jokes about herself and laugh at herself.

Too much photoshopped! Tend to overdo it and sometimes people looked like its not really them.

The last pic (in the white coat/dress) looks like claymation. She’s so beautiful. There’s no need for the cartoon photoshopping.

I’ll agree with everyone else — why the need to photoshop to this extent? I understand smoothing out a pimple or some redness, but this is out of hand. My goodness, what is it telling all the ordinary people out there? — that even Jennifer Lawrence isn’t good enough without the aid of a computer program!

I agree, the photoshop is way too much. Also not impressed with how they did the pictures at all. It’s sad that the industry does this; setting un-realistic expectations of people and a product, and making her look fake. Hopefully they will change up the ad.

OMGosh, why would they photoshop her to look like she is starving to death. If I were her, I would be mortified…It doesn’t even look like her. She is a beautiful healthy woman, and the images above looks like a starving waif…

Shame on you, Dior! Yes it’s high fashion, yes Couture has different standards of “beauty,” but really? If you wanted a waif or another one of the zombie looking fashion-bots out there, just use one of them. The reason you chose Jennifer is because she has mass appeal due to her girl-next-door beauty and sparkling personality – and you took that sparkle and dimmed it down until she looks like a wax figure of a girl who hasn’t seen food or sunlight in months. I only hope that this shows young girls out there just how ridiculous advertising is these days, and that REAL beauty is the ONLY real beauty.

Don’t assume it’s PhotoShop, it’s an insult to the artistry of the photographer. You have no idea what a photographer can create with lighting and angles.

She is adorable and remembered this is a commercial for the many countries she is representing Dior and she is the face of Dior ,she is not going to have coffee with friends ,we now she is beautiful but she is representing something different Thant the girl next door Good for her.

They seriously took like 25 pounds off of her. It looks like her head on Audrey Hepburn’s body.
