See Jennifer Lawrence’s First Campaign Ads for Miss Dior

She’s developed a reputation as a bit of a firecracker, but in her debut ads for Miss Dior, Jennifer Lawrence is the picture of understated, ladylike elegance.

The images, released two days before Lawrence walks the Oscars red carpet in what we predict will be another beautiful Christian Dior creation, show the actress as a dark brunette, posing in monochromatic looks with the line’s colorful quilted handbags, or bare-shouldered with one statement piece, including a bejeweled necklace and birdcage veil. See two more shots from the campaign, below:

Lawrence is following in the footsteps of another red-hot Miss Dior frontwoman, Mila Kunis, though the latest round of ads are more sleek and modern than Kunis’s ’50s-inspired, retro-glam shots.

Tell us: What do you think of the first look at Jennifer Lawrence for Miss Dior? Are you excited to see what she wears to the Oscars?

I’m going to agree with everyone else. She is an absolute beauty but the first thing I thought when I saw the photos was PHOTOSHOP!!

I’ll agree with everyone else — why the need to photoshop to this extent? I understand smoothing out a pimple or some redness, but this is out of hand. My goodness, what is it telling all the ordinary people out there? — that even Jennifer Lawrence isn’t good enough without the aid of a computer program!

They had to photoshop her….she’s NOT A MODEL…just a wanna be actress…..

Love her! Good Actress and beautiful!

Pretty pictures, I think I will change my mind…I like her hair dark after all.

Who is this again? She doesn’t look anything like herself!! If they thought she was pretty enough to hire then why photoshop her completely out of the campaign?? Ridiculous

Who is this again? If they hired her because they obviously thought she was a beautiful young woman…why in the heck did they photoshop her out of the pictures? Why don’t they just CGI a woman to their liking. Would save on paying the real woman millions of dollars…

Really? I don’t find her beautiful at all. She’s attractive, but not beautiful.

Pinkdaisy on

Doesn’t even look like her at first glance, too much photo-shopping!

I agree, the photoshop is way too much. Also not impressed with how they did the pictures at all. It’s sad that the industry does this; setting un-realistic expectations of people and a product, and making her look fake. Hopefully they will change up the ad.
