See Jennifer Lawrence’s First Campaign Ads for Miss Dior

She’s developed a reputation as a bit of a firecracker, but in her debut ads for Miss Dior, Jennifer Lawrence is the picture of understated, ladylike elegance.

The images, released two days before Lawrence walks the Oscars red carpet in what we predict will be another beautiful Christian Dior creation, show the actress as a dark brunette, posing in monochromatic looks with the line’s colorful quilted handbags, or bare-shouldered with one statement piece, including a bejeweled necklace and birdcage veil. Lawrence is following in the footsteps of another red-hot Miss Dior frontwoman, Mila Kunis, though the latest round of ads are more sleek and modern than Kunis’s ’50s-inspired, retro-glam shots.

She looks amazingly beautiful and very Dior! Jennifer is down to earth but Dior is high fashion couture, so you’re not going to look like the girl next door.

They have photoshopped her! Even the arms do not look like hers! She is supposed to be refreshingly curvy and naturally pretty! And they CHANGE THAT!

this chic is on People way more than Kim K or Jessica S these days, and I am just as sick of her as I am of them. Don’t really get it about her, like one other commentor said, Jennifer is to full of herself these days. Pictures aren’t good, this isn’t beauty.

They made her moles disappear and gave her the appearance of a waif. Doesn’t make me feel like running to the Dior boutiques anytime soon.

Love, love love her. She is classy and a bit of a clown. She is so unhollywood and a true breath of fresh air. She is unpretentious and has the ability to makes jokes about herself and laugh at herself.

This young woman has a kind of beauty that can really inspire other ladies – she has a healthy body and a natural, likeable aura about her. These pictures make her look like a wax doll.
