Actress and bride-to-be Oliva Wilde has yet to start planning her nuptials to Saturday Night Live funnyman Jason Sudeikis, but she does have some ideas about what she will wear when she walks down the aisle.

“I’m very excited to look for a dress,” Wilde told PEOPLE at the Calvin Klein Fall 2013 Women’s Collection presentation during New York Fashion Week on Thursday.

“I think women should want a dress that inspires them, especially for an important day like a wedding,” the actress said. “I’m looking for a design and materials that represents the best version of myself.”

And what would a gown that represents the best version of herself look like? “Anything that is modern, elegant and playful,” she explained.

Tell us: What do you imagine Wilde’s wedding dress looking like?

I had a big wedding the first time. Would I do it again? I don’t know. But for those of you who would judge, there’s something seriously wrong with you.. It’s her business and Jason’s, not yours . I think it’s absoluely hysterical that people comment, but if a relative butted in on their wedding plans, they’d have a problem with that. Pot, meet kettle.

Seriously… mellow down people. Why so much hate? It’s her wedding and it should be how she wants it to be. Why should you care about the size of her wedding or how many she has had before? Get a life! … and if you have one live it and let others do the same. For your sake, I sincerely hope that you can let go of that bitterness.

How long before he makes her hooha die?
2nd marriage, keep it low key and quit rubbing the details on our faces.

No… Have a huge affair if that is what you want! This is the 21st century, I think the antiquated ideas of the 1950s are OVER!! Enjoy whatever day and dress you choose to have Olivia because it’s about YOU and not the ignorant folks on this comment thread who tell you to go to the justice of the peace.
