Crystal Harris Auctions Off Her Wedding Dress -- Any Takers?

Hugh Hefner Crystal Harris Wedding Dress Auction
Elayne Lodge

Hugh Hefner’s new bride Crystal Harris may have held on to her wedding dress in between their canceled first wedding and intimate second one, but now she’s ready to get rid of it — for a good cause, of course.

“I am auctioning my wedding dress with @charitybuzz to raise money for lymphoma in memory of Mary,” Harris tweeted Thursday, referring to Mary O’Connor, Hugh Hefner’s longtime secretary, who died Sunday.

In addition to the blush pink Romona Keveza gown Harris wore to get hitched to Hef on New Year’s Eve, she’s also put her satin Aruna Seth flats on the block.

You certainly can’t beat the dress for an interesting back story (or knock the charitable angle), so if the one thing your wedding is missing is a conversation-starting gown, you can bid at CharityBuzz for the next 10 days. Tell us: Would you wear a wedding dress from the Playboy Mansion?

Wow, does she really think she’s that special? lol

Marge on

Everyone else is going to be negative so I’ll just be positive and say her dress is gorgeous!

ds on

wouldnt touch that dress with a 10 ft pole

Kathy on

the dress is beautiful and she’s not saying she’s special she is just trying to raise money for a charity to honor a longtime employee/friend of Hef’s. I don’t see where that makes her saying she’s special. I think its a great thing to do to honor someone.

I actually think the dress is quite pretty and it is nice that she is auctioning it raise money for a charity. I wouldn’t want it, though.

Lili on

Very pretty dress.. but uh NO I wouldnt want it!

guest on

Not, no, but H$LL NO!

Rebecca on

The dress is beautiful! Can’t imagine it’s going to be worth anything just because she wore it though.

Yoyo on

The dress is pretty, but probably disease ridden…I wouldn’t want to go near it. What a mockery of true love and marriage!

Sammi on

I’d rather die, thanks.

And you think Monica Lewinsky’s dress was stained! No way would I wear that dress!

Life goes on on

I would not want to wear that dress, even if someone paid me for it.

Juno on

Wow, you would rather die…i seriously doubt that. Some of these comments are very immature. The dress might not be the prettiest, but she’s doing something for a good cause and that doesn’t warrant negative comments, but that’s the world we live in these days.

not with a 10 foot pol, my friends!!

Crystal doesn’t want to remember that day of her wedding with Hef, she must be sick of him already and getting rid of her dress may be a sign of relief…….and little by little she will walk away from that nightmare., and hoping that you don’t have to wait too long…. hang in there.

They got married? Isn’t this the girl who broke off her engagement to him and then he had a new clone girlfriend within a week or so? What are these women thinking?

It’s a pretty dress, although I don’t know who would want to wear a wedding dress that has been worn by someone outside of their family on their own wedding day.

Ew

Yes! same gal who attacked his manhood and called him a loser in bed.

Emily on

I wouldn’t wear it, but if I had the money I would definitely try to auction for it to raise money for lymphoma research.

Tigs on

Beautiful dress and I”m glad she is raising the money for a good cause.

I absolutely love her dress. I got engaged last month and I’ve really begun to love blush pink gowns, rather than starking white. I’ll probably go with a blush pink or champagne dress. She looks beautiful to me but I wouldn’t touch anything that came out of that place!

Yuck

Misty on

Pretty dress.

I personally dont like that specific style, but i would like a pink wedding dress its non traditional. I would not wear it personally either. But, to auction it off for charity is a really wonderful. If i was a celeb auctioning off my dress, id do it for charity too.

That dress can NOT have any good luck on it so I will say no thank you…

MJ on

I just threw up

I don’t like the dress but it fits her body type nicely. I don’t get why there’s so much hate. Yes, she obviously didn’t marry Hef to have a long and meaningful relationship, a family and a beautiful life since he soon will be on his death bed and she’ll most likely cash in and just remarry some guy her age and get her 15 minutes worth, BUT that aside – she did auction it off for a good cause and we’ve got to give her kudos for that… or whoever came up with the idea.

Michele on

It’s a beautiful dress, and since it’s for charity, I hope it fetches a lot of money. I have no need for such an item, but I’m sure someone would be willing to pay good money for it

jenny on

what a bunch of prudes on here! she posed nude and married a rich dude…she didn’t kill anyone! i hope she gets a lot of money for that beautiful dress- it is a nice gesture.

Vicky on

A big ole hail to the NO

Dina on

Why dont they just donate the money without all this mumbo jumbo spectacle ??

Liz on

Okay, so, I don’t really like her. But this is a really good thing to do! I donated my wedding dress (I have it immortalized in pictures, so I don’t really need to drag it around behind me my whole life), and I hope more people do good thongs like this!
