Jennifer Lawrenence SAGs Dress Rip

She’s been picking up Best Actress statues left and right for the past few weeks, but we’re giving Jennifer Lawrence an award that really counts: Best Narration of a Wardrobe Malfunction.

“My pants fell off!” Lawrence exclaimed on Piers Morgan Tonight as he played her a video of her Dior Haute Couture gown “ripping” when she climbed the stairs at the SAG Awards to accept her win. Though the dress didn’t actually tear (it was the way it was designed) she still flashed a whole lotta leg.

Since the actress hadn’t seen the incident in action yet, we get to watch her cringe at the moment that set Twitter aflame. “Somebody trips me on the way, I remember that,” she says during her play-by-play of the video. “I’m keepin’ it together, keepin’ it together … and then my pants fall off! Yep! Oh, god.”

Suggestion to the Academy Awards committee: Get this girl to narrate the entire telecast next year. We guarantee it’ll get you epic ratings. To see what we mean, check out her reaction to SAGs moment from the 2:30 mark in the video below.

I feel like Jennifer Lawrence is what Anne Hathaway wishes she could be when she is trying to be funny and off-the-cuff. The difference between them is that Jennifer Lawrence isn’t putting on an act and trying to be cutesy when she says what she says. It is just what she is feeling at the moment rather than what seems to be a calculated cutesy moment.

I feel that she is just such a fun genuine person … and I LOVE to say that she is from my hometown of Louisville, KY :-)

Jennifer is a naturally witty person, with a very “down-to-earth” personality. She is so grounded, family oriented, and has a great sense of humor. She’s pretty much the only person I enjoy seeing as a guest on late-night TV. Hopefully, she has a great career ahead of her!

@ SnowBird- Watch the movie Winter’s Bone…you’ll definitely understand what the fuss is about. She’s a wonderful actress, and well on her way to becoming one of the great’s.

good actress just like many out there. don’t like how she tires too hard to come off as natural and self deprecating which she isn’t, it’s a turn off and annoying.

This is why I like her! She is just herself and can laugh at this whole “wardrobe malfunction” incident. She’s also young, and great actress. I predict a long career ahead of her – similar to Julia Roberts.
