Justin Timberlake: I’m Bringing Fedoras Back

Can you guess what Justin Timberlake wears in the just-released lyric video for his new single “Suit & Tie”? Okay, yes, a suit and tie, but he also dons something more surprising: a fedora.

It’s tough to distract us from a hot man in a nice suit (particularly if that man is Justin Timberlake) but let’s face it: The last time a fedora was cool was, well, the last time he wore a fedora in a music video — the 2002 clip for his first solo effort, “Like I Love You” (seen on the right in the photo above).

But it appears Timberlake wants to do for the fedora what he once did for sexy: bring it back. And to his credit, the superstar’s 2013 version of the topper is much like the 2013 version of Timberlake himself: more laid-back, more stylish and way less cheesy. If we have to deal with a wave of Timberlake style copycats again, at least this is a look we can get behind.

Justin is obviously playing into the 50 Shades of Grey movie. Everyone here might backlash me for saying it … but you all know it’s true.

You know who wears fedoras? Tools and dbags. And if you ladies fall for a tool wearing one you’ll find out. No they won’t be rich like Justin or Bruno. They’ll be waiting tables and cutting grass.
