Michelle Obama Wears Jason Wu Again at Inaugural Ball

i normally don’t care for a lot of her outfits but this is a beautiful dress and her hair looks much better.

That is a great color on her and I love the new bangs!

The dress is quite eye catching! The neckline is a great design for Mrs. Obama plus the beautiful fabric and appropriate color! Like her first Wu gown, I thought this was was about 1 inch too long…nerve wracking hoping she or the president would not trip on the bottom of the dress! Hair style quite attractive however I felt the false eyelashes were just a bit too much for the inaguration and ball! What can I say?

The First Lady looked beautiful. The dress is extremely flattering for her figure and the color is terrific on her. I like it much more on her than the white Wu dress she wore four years ago, particularly because it is such a comfortable looking dress.

All the commenters with negative opinions are ridiculous. What’s wrong with being glamorous? I doubt anyone complained about Jackie Kennedy. Maybe the problem is after a long line of frumpy middle age First Ladies, you simply are not accustomed to a modern day woman? She’s 49 years old what should she be wearing? It’s a ball of course she goes all out. Sorry she’s not nancy regan or Barbara Bush. Really wish people would stop nitpicking. I doubt who paid for previous First Ladies dress or how much makeup was worn would even be an issue. People don’t realize that it makes you look Petty simple and uneducated with these secretly undercover racially motivated comments.

I love our First Lady choice and think she did good by sticking Wu. Also, @Carrie your 100% correct he was not BORN in America but he is here paying his fair share of taxes and trying to reach that great “american dream”. So, it makes perfect sense for FLOTUS to pick WU, being she believes EVERYONE who contributes to our democray deserves a fair shot. One more thing @Marie Mullin would it be okay if she got botox vs wearing flase lashes or even a brighter shade of nail polish… would that also make her seem like she was trying to be a “movie star”?

Sawee First Lady I’m so caught up in SB (Harbaugh Bowl) fever for my Ravens (I work in museum Obamas attend constantly) I haven’t kept up on the festivities BUT as usual she looks intelligent classy and soooooooo mommy!!!! hahahaha Now go Ravens!!!

The DRESS is stunning.

Why is it that while people complain about the cost of her clothes, no one is mentioning the fact that she has often worn gowns more than once? She and her children often recycle and change the look with a different blouse or sweater. How many other first families have done that? Plus they are responsible for some expenses out of their own pockets. They had money before they got in office. Do you think Ann Romney would have worn something already seen had they won? NOT!

For a woman with a good shape and who works for it, I don’t think this dress was super flattering, too much flare, looks a bit tenty on the bottom. Although, the color is gorgeous.

Ugh can’t stand her. A designers dress paid by the Tax Payers Money Again! I think she looks like an Ape. OOOOO:)

Beautiful and classy as always! Love this dress and love her new hairstyle. What is wrong with you people commenting on the cost? First of all, every President earns a salary and has a separate expense budget for certain items. Secondly, designers give these dresses to the First Lady for free because it’s major publicity and an honor when their dress is chosen. Finally, the Obamas are independently wealthy. The salary he earns is a drop in the bucket compared to what they used to earn and what he’s earned from his books. $300k is nothing. Many normal people make more than that.

The First Lady always has such style and class. Beautiful!
