Jennifer Aniston wants you to have good skin.

The actress announced today that she’s the new face and body of Aveeno skincare products, a brand she loves.

“I’m very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years,” Aniston tells PEOPLE exclusively. “So this partnership is a natural fit for me.”

Expect to see the star in ad campaigns later in the year — and hear her reveal some coveted beauty tips, too.

“Jennifer’s holistic approach to life and her natural beauty are such a perfect match for Aveeno,” the brand says in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the Aveeno family.”

Aniston, who until now had limited her endorsements, became the spokeswoman and co-owner of Living Proof hair products late last year.

Jennifer quit smoking last year. I recall her doing an interview where she addressed her (very minimal) weight gain and attributed it to quitting smoking. I feel her pain because I gained weight like crazy when I quit. Good for her! And Aveeno is a great lotion so whether she uses it or not I’m glad she’s promoting it.

For those claiming she smokes – NEWSFLASH – she quit nearly 2 years ago. Plus, MOST celebs smoke. So if you think any of the others fronting for skin and body lines don’t you are sadly mistaken.

Biggest name... on

@Angie…”biggest name in Holloywood’? I don’t think so. When was the last time she has a halfway decent movie out??? The break up? And that was how long ago. She might be a well known name in Hollywood but not the biggest…just saying.

Aveeno is a product from Johnson&Johnson. Unfortunately, J&J tests their products on animals. Not a smart move is she doesn’t want to offend a big population. Yes, she may use Aveeno, but as someone else pointed out, there is no doubt that she uses more expensive product. Heck, all she would have to do is put a dollop on her skin and she can truthfully say she uses it. I will stick with my cruelty free products despite JA touting Aveeno. It makes me feel better knowing no animals have to suffer for vanity!

This not a product one put in your mouth . It a product you put on yours face. Her skin still looks like smooth for some one you guys claim smoke. The point you use the product you will have the skin like her. I admire her for not promoting shallowness as some do.

What you promote to the society . It what you are. It what you believe in.

I think she is so pretty and I have always liked her, but I believe she uses other products that make her skin look great. I am sure she has expensive facials etc. I use Aveeno, but I would not buy any product just because a celeb uses it.

It’s a shame that she is teaming up with a company that still in this day and age tests on animals. I wish more celebrities would use the voice they have been given by their fans to bring awareness to such unnecessary cruelty. She’s obviously an animal lover, so this doesn’t make sense to me. I also find it hard to believe that she using products that you can by at Walgreens. Years ago I remember she was quoted raving about how she only used this expensive face serum that was sold through dermatologists. That is more believable.

She’s not a natural beauty, she has many surgeries on her face and body as well, no kids, plenty of time and money… no wonder she’s perfect!

I love Aveeno, and have used it for years. Good choice.
