Brad Goreski and Louise Roe Pick Their Favorite Globes Fashions
We’ve already made our best dressed list, but after Tweeting the night away with the #peopleglobes team, celeb stylist Brad Goreski and Fashion Star host Louise Roe were kind enough to share their picks, too. Interestingly, they only had one overlap — can you guess who it was?
Bonus: Roll over each of the photos below (from Stipple.com) to read fun details on designers, accessories and films — and to see some of these glam gowns on the runway!
Julianne Moore in Tom Ford. “Julianne is the queen of chic,” Goreski tells PEOPLE. “This look is elegant, sophisticated and sexy, not to mention the graphic black and white is very on trend.”
Katharine McPhee in Theyskens’ Theory. “I love that Katharine showed us her vampy side since I usually think of her as sweet,” he says. “Her hair and makeup were the perfect complement to this daring gown.”
Marion Cotillard in Dior Haute Couture. “Red was a big trend on the red carpet, but Marion’s was my favorite,” Goreski shares. “I love the asymmetrical cocktail length with the metal belt. She always looks modern and cool.”
Michelle Dockery in Alexandre Vauthier. “Michelle Dockery looked gorgeous and edgy in this gown,” the stylist says. “The gold embroidery and sculptural shoulder helped add drama to this look.”
Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen. “Kate brought her signature 1970s style with this body-conscious McQueen gown,” he explains. “This look has a lot of beautiful detail, but also seems effortless.”
Jessica Alba in Oscar de la Renta. “Jessica was glowing,” Roe tells PEOPLE. “Her coral lips and Veronica Lake-inspired hair were classic and gorgeous, mixed with such an edgy-color dress.”
Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen. “Nicole was statuesque and elegant,” Roe says. “The transparent corset and embroidered honeybees around the neck were beautiful details.”
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior Haute Couture. “She knocked it out of the park,” Roe says. “Such a vibrant color (we saw 50 shades of red on the red carpet — it was a popular hue) and the metal belt really cinched her waist to make it look tiny. I loved her messy braided hair to tone the look down, too.”
Kate Hudson in Alexander McQueen. “Kate Hudson’s peephole McQueen was super-sexy,” Roe shares. “The gold embellishment at the waist and collar gave it a regal feel.”
Nicole Richie in Naeem Khan. “She nailed it with her powder-blue [gown] with matching eye shadow and soft retro curls,” Roe says. “Long sleeves, a high neck and stunning beading, this dress would have been heavy to walk in and was a true show-stopper.”
