Which Colors Ruled on the Red Carpet Tonight?
We predicted embellished necklines, floral patterns, sexy mermaids and golden gowns. What we didn’t expect, though? Seeing so many stars in the same colors!

Red was a popular choice at Sunday night’s Golden Globes, with Jennifer Lawrence, Zooey Deschanel and Claire Danes picking the bold hue, and Miranda Kerr, Marion Cotillard and Smash‘s Megan Hilty choosing it, too.

It seemed that almost every other star picked black, but made it anything but basic with ruffles, beading, and in Katharine McPhee‘s case, a plunging neckline and up-to-there slit. We liked Debra Messing and Sarah Hyland’s take on the hue, too, and also spotted Julianne Moore, Rachel Weisz, Eva Longoria, Zosia Mamet, Nicole Kidman, Adele, Julianna Marguiles, Sofia Vergara, Kate Hudson, Kristen Wiig, Emily Deschanel and Salma Hayek in black.

The ever-popular (and sometimes not-so-flattering) blush popped up on the carpet, as well, on Megan Fox, Amy Adams, Amanda Seyfried, Isla Fisher and Kerry Washington.
Tell us: Did you have a favorite color on the red carpet tonight? How about a favorite dress?
