Guess who has another new look?

Kim Kardashian touched down at Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday night sporting freshly cut fringe. The reality starlet — who’d been in New York City for a photo shoot — also had a sleeker, shorter ‘do, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan.

“Fun shoot today @chrismcmillan He just can’t control his scissor hands! #bangs,” she Tweeted to fans, along with an Instagram collage of the hair-cutting process.

McMillan — best known for giving Jennifer Aniston the famed “Rachel” hairstyle — Tweeted his own pic and mentioned his love of Kardashian’s new look. “BANGS!!! @kimkardashian #love #fringe #photoshoot #sexy.”

Interestingly, it was about exactly one year ago when Kardashian tried bangs (presumably clip-ins) for a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. At the time, her tresses were longer and darker, making the look a bit more severe than her newer, softer style.

To all of the people telling everyone to go to CNN if they want news worthy stories-well, they certainly didn’t come to this website looking for that article…they came to PEOPLE.com for what it has become-mindless/useless “celebrity” chatter. That’s why I read it. But the fact of the matter is that PEOPLE tries to do both so you’re going to have fluff next to things that really matter.

Kim looks great. I like the softer makeup…and to the others on this board…your are on People Magazine not Time or Newsweek. If you don’t want to read fluff I suggest the Wall Street Journal, but if your mind sometimes needs a break from the real world…come here.

For all you complaining about this story… a). don’t read it and b). yes, what happened to the 27 who were killed is horrific but no matter matter how KK cuts her hair it will never ever be forgotten or made to be anything less than the tragedy that it was.

I for one didn’t mind reading this article, no matter how lame it seems. Something a little less horrific was a nice changed in amongst the sadness.

I realize People Mag. has basically turned into a “rag sheet” but seriously – less than 1 week after 26 people were horribly massacared, do we really care that Kim K has BANGS now… she’s been “banged” enough – so this is not news.

I can’t stand anything about the Kardashian’s and the only reason I wasted 2 minutes of my life that I’ll never get back is to post that I CANNOT believe that People Writers have the balls to write an article about Kim’s bangs when such tragedy has forced this nation to look deep within their souls for what really is important in this world – Reality TV isn’t on my list and least of all the ridiculous Kardashians.

I got bangs today too – stay tuned for my picture. Seriously, PEOPLE – - you have NOTHING else to report on – like the 20 children who were taken in CT? I realize this is a social magazine, but really how hard up are we that we need to know some wanna-be got bangs.
