This Week’s Best Dressed Star: Katie Holmes

The red carpet saw its fair share of sequins, metallics and lace, but all of that sparkle and sexiness was no match for Katie Holmes‘s basic LBD.
Her knee-length number earned more than 15,700 votes and nabbed the top spot on our best dressed list this week.
Holmes wore the winning creation — which features flutter sleeves and a V-neckline — with two-tone Gio Diev pumps (love!) to a Quentin Tarantino tribute at N.Y.C.’s MoMA on Monday.

Close behind Holmes in the number-two spot was Taylor Swift, who’s actually found herself in two of the top five spots on our weekly best dressed list.
Swift’s runner-up look (worn to N.Y.C.’s Ripple of Hope gala on Monday) consisted of a gold tulle embroidered Oscar de la Renta tea-length design, nude Jimmy Choo pumps and Lorraine Schwartz earrings.
