What to Wear to Work Tomorrow

Taylor Swift‘s outfit was perfect for a recent walk around town, but we think it’s suitable for a Monday morning at the office, too.

The starlet translates summer’s brightly colored bottoms trend to fall by swapping reds and blues for jewel-tone skinnies — which happen to be a fun alternative to your basic black dress pants.

Swift pairs her ruby cigarette pants (like these from Banana Republic) with a polka-dotted navy-and-white French Connection sweater (similar to this one for $30) and bow-topped flats (we love this ASOS pair).

If you don’t work in a casual office, simply swap Swift’s shoes for a pair of black heels and add a blazer to dress up the look.

Be sure to keep her pearl necklace and structured messenger bag, though; we have a feeling those would fly in any type of work environment. Tell us: Would you try Swift’s outfit for work?
