Why Is Taylor Swift Sad About Owning Hundreds of Dresses?

Oh give me a break, Taylor. The red carpet is not a rule for every day life. There is no reason whatsoever you can’t wear the same clothes in your every day life, and whining about it only makes you look even more arrogant and less connected with reality. Get over yourself. And everything else “again… shut up” said, because it’s dead on.

She needs to learn NOT to care about what others think of her. Take Kate middleton for example. They’re constantly talking about her recycling outfits all the time. Yet she doesn’t let it bother her. Taylor just needs to be herself, and tell them all to stuff it, if they make a snide comment about her wearing the same thing twice or more!

Really? She can’t be seen in the same dress twice??? Oh give me a break! Princess Catherine is seen wearing the same outfit all the time- she is amazing at reusing outfits and just chaning the look slightly by adding different accessories. I think Taylor is a stuck up little girl who needs to learn to act her age and quite expecting the world to revolve around her.

She can’t re-wear a dress just walking around in the street being photographed by paparazzi but the First Lady can re-wear a dress to her husband’s second acceptance speech–one she’s been previously photographed in twice? Yeah, poor, poor Hollywood actresses and singers have the horror of a magazine POSSIBLY pointing out that they’re not entirely made of money.

Gosh, the problems and life dilemmas these people have. I don’t know how they deal with it!

Here’s a thought: Who cares what anybody thinks? Wear the same outfit 3 days in a row if you feel like it!!! Whatever! Be your own d*mn person!

Boo Hoo Taylor Swift. If The Duchess of Cambridge -aka- Kate Middleton can recycle her dresses with no apologies, then so can you.

Taylor, dear, who cares! Our First Lady often recycles her clothing. You of all people should know that you can do what YOU want to do and not what others dictate you to do.

Seriously, people, get a grip… she makes a fortune, she can afford to buy as many dresses as she wants. The fact that all the haters mention the same couple of people who ‘recycle their dresses’ proves her point. And for those who bemoan her spending money on such trivialities while people are in need, you realize it means she’s spending her money in the open market (thus employing those in need). On top of it all this is just another case where an offhand remark she has made is blown out of proportion and those who hate revel in having more fuel, appropriate or not.

Give me a break! If the Duchess Kate can “recycle” her clothing, so can Taylor Swift. Simply admit you like shopping all the time or tell the mags to get stuffed and wear what you want.

She should NOT be concerned with what people are saying about what she wears or re-wears. Re-wear the dresses, I bet no one will ever know…. And if they notice, who cares, they are her clothes. Does she not re-wear her jeans and blouses?

Spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! There more I hear this girl speak the less I respect her. She is a self made woman and can do whatever she wishes with her money and if she wants to buy a dress a day that’s up to her, but to do it because it might be pointed out in a magazine makes it seem as though she’s far too invested in what people who don’t even know her think of her. Personally, if I saw her wearing an outfit more than once I wouldn’t give it a second thought, after all, most of us wear our clothes more than once, especially our more expensive outfits.

She needs to update her clothes. Those dresses that look to short waisted and gathered at the waist makes her look so dorky. And the red lip stick doesn’t speak well of her reputation.

Am I the only one that’s more bothered about her other comment than the one about the dresses(which is somewhat shallow and insensitive,but could have easily been taken out of concept)…how sad is it that young,beautiful,accomplished ladies like the ones mentioned here don’t feel the need to talk about their “careers,aspirations,future” esp but only talk about “boys and relationships”…sad!

or you know, she could not give a hoot about what “the magazines” say about her and re-wear a dress once or twice.

I think if the first lady can recycle clothes so can celebrities. We wear the same clothes over and over again. Get over be an individual.

I hope that, if owning and having to buy “hundreds of dresses”, is SUCH a bother to Miss Swift that she swiftly considers sharing her priviledged burden with those less fortunate than her. Poor little rich girl…….

If Kate can wear a dress twice, so can anyone, and they should!! Who cares if someone sees you wear it again! My goodness, that might mean you actually like it and know the value of a dollar. If you really can’t wear them again Taylor, then I would donate the dresses to all the high school girls across the US who can’t afford prom dresses and the like. You don’t even have to tell anyone you’ve done that, that way it would be a true act of kindness.

Taylor, I really like your music. And once upon a time you seemed like a very sweet little girl when you burst onto the music scene. But things have changed. You give interview after interview where you seem completely out of touch with reality. Who really cares if you wear the same dress twice? Who cares if you go to the store without makeup? Nobody! There are plenty of celebrities who are bigger than you (Kate Middleton is recognized all over the world) who wear the same thing over and over. It’s time to grow up honey. You still act like you’re 17 and the problem is you’re 22.

I appreciate Taylor only in the sense that at least she’s not one of these arrested development women like Lindsay, Paris, Britney or any number of other starlets who seem like they are playing dress up in sexy clothes but don’t have the maturity to match it.
