First time she isn’t pregnant in 22 years. Woman turns me off. Have kids to raise kids. Even rabbits know when to stop.

As a wife, I think she meant that it is important for her to be visually appealing to her husband. I don’t think there is a woman out there that wants her mate to notice her physical beauty as well as her inner personality. I care about what my husband thinks. I ask his opinions on styles because I want him to like how I look. Personal acceptance is a priority, too. I’m just saying I don’t fault her for wanting to please her husband.

I think she looks great. I watched the video a couple of times, that was up the other day. Watching Mega-Momma take some “ME” time was a treat. It’s perfect for her, not extreme, low maintenance. Good for her.

Yeah these women swear they are doing everything natural according to their religion, don’t wear makeup or normal clothes, too revealing provacative, etc., ect., but they do their hair? I never could figure that one out. Why is the hair exempt from the rest of their religion? Come on, Duggar women, just ditch the gunny sacks and put on some mascara, for crying out loud. Hey, whatever happened to this modest family that celebrated all the kids birthdays once a year and only spent $50.00. Now we have rented slides, Never bought new clothes, shoes, etc. Since the show has been on, I’ve seen all that they stand for dwindle…..Now we living lavishly with a huge home with all the bells and whistles, RV’s, cars, travels and now hair do’s Really, if you changed all that, take a another step forward and dress like you are in this centry and not back in the pioneer days. Too bad there are so many negative haters out there. First, her hair looks great and she can do with it what she wants & second, her husband liking long hair is normal. Guys LOVE long hair. While they are sweet about complimenting us when we cut it short and don’t mind changes now and again, ALL men love long, sexy, flowing hair. And…please stop with the rabbit type comments- they are her kids, her body and her family’s decision (based on a religious position too). Her kids are very polite, well mannered and they have a ton of money and resources to raise them. It’s not everyone’s ideal family size, but not everyone wants just one or none either-but you should accept everyone’s choices! Personally, I love all she stands for and hey, if she wants a makeover, let’s just celebrate her having fun as a woman changing the look up a bit :)

I keep my hair longer because my husband likes it that way, not for any “modesty” or religious reason. I don’t mind it long, and if he actually speaks up about something he likes, I tend to take notice!

it’s kind of sad to me that so many people have trouble with her wanting to impress her husband. I’m all for embracing your natural texture and I prefer long hair too but not if your natural texture and length makes you look dated, older, and unflattering. The straightened hair smooths out her features and plays up her cheekbones. People mag made this news because she’s never changed her hairstyle. Before she actually looked like someone who lives in a colony. Now she looks fresh and modern.

I know exactly how she feels,My ex husband always liked my hair long,so I kept it long to please him.But after we devorced I finally decided to cut it,my hair was to my waist! I was very nervous,they cut it just above my shoulders,I hated it! I wanted my hair back! But I gave my hair to locks of love,so it worked out well.

Why is ok for women to be as liberal as they want to be but not ok for a women to be conservative. She wants to please her husband, so what. She is obviously independant enough that she didn’t ask his permission to do it since he was surprised by the change. She just wants him to find her attractive. And stop with all the talk about an “independant woman would never do that” because “independant women” conform to what they think men want them to be all the time. If the woman wants to have 20 Kids then let her have 20 kids. I am sure if she had wanted to stop there wouldn’t be the show and she wouldn’t be very happy. She seems to be happy in her situation. Obviously her choice even if it isn’t yours. That means they are done having kids. I got a new look after number 3 because I knew we were finished having kids and I could get back to being ME.

It actually appears that she has had some plastic surgery too if you look really close. Her eyelids have been lifted. Brow lifted and some possible collagen in the face area. Who’s paying for that? Yep. Tax payers.
