Four more years with President Barack Obama in the White House means … four more years of amazing fashions from Michelle.

The First Lady exercised her right to look stylish after the polls closed Tuesday night, wearing a pintucked magenta silk chine Michael Kors dress (she’s a fan of the designer), House of Lavande Vintage brooch and black shrug for her husband’s acceptance speech in Chicago. And in true Michelle fashion, she chose a dress she’d worn — twice — before.

“She said that she was so busy with the campaign and their kids that she had no time to think about an outfit and decided at the last minute,” an Obama source tells PEOPLE.

Michelle first wore the dress to a White House holiday part in 2009, wearing it again for a military event in November of 2010, according to the Huffington Post.

“Mrs. Obama looked chic and elegant as always on election night,” Kors says in a statement. “My dress, with its strong color, clean lines and feminine silhouette, has all the elements that have become a part of the trademark style of our First Lady.”

Four years ago, the then-new FLOTUS made her first major style statement in a black-and-red Narciso Rodriguez sheath (daughters Sasha and Malia were color-coordinated with mom). It’s been fun to follow her fashions since then — everything from H&M frocks and Tracy Reese stunners to Naeem Khan gowns and Isaac Mizrahi creations. And we especially can’t wait to see what she wears to the inaugural ball in January — it’ll take a lot to top that Jason Wu dress. Tell us: What did you think of Michelle’s election day dress?

Seems there are some really poor losers in these comments that chose to say unkind things about our First Lady because of the loss of the election. In really poor taste, folks. Our first lady is a class act. You doubt she has worn this dress before? Please. It’s documented. Yes, she uses a designer. One from the U.S.A., please note. She tries to promote American products. You have a problem with that? Have you heard about any other Presidents’ children who are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and preparing their own breakfast and lunch? They are exceptional parents, not just for the White House, but in life in general. Is the problem jealousy? You need to get over it. The election is over, it’s time to forget partisan politics and get on with solving the problems our great nation has. That means pull together and forget about whining and complaining. That accomplishes nothing. To quote JFK: “Ask not what your country can do for you — Ask what you can do for your country.” With all our problems, we are still the best place to live in this world. If you don’t agree, may I suggest you take yourself and your family to the country you prefer? If you aren’t part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

To all the ppl that are leaving neg comments either u mad that her husband was re-elected or u racist! Old white Bs get over it! To the dummies that do not know every 1st lady BEFORE her had a designer! Did u compare Nancy and Laura’s clothing budget before u felt thr need to judge her? NO you didn’t. And to the dummy that said something about you are gald she covered her arms because you are tired of seeing her sweaty arm pit…. B please! You never have! STOP tryin to find things you don’t like to make up for the fact you do not like her because of the color of her skin! Oh, and too the military person… THEY DID NOT CUT OUR PAY(AND YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IF YOU REALLY WERE IN THE MILITARY) they put a freeze on pay increases and that’s only because the republicans will not work with him to pass a budget and fight him EVERY STEP OF THE WAY!

You really make it appear really easy along with your presentation however I in finding this topic to be really one thing which I think I’d never understand. It sort of feels too complex and very wide for me. I’m having a look ahead to your next publish, I will try to get the hold of it!

I was just looking for this information for a while. After 6 hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what’s the lack of Google strategy that don’t rank this kind of informative sites in top of the list. Generally the top websites are full of garbage.
