Mom of 19 Michelle Duggar Gets a Brand New 'Do

Hot mama alert! Michelle Duggar ditched her long curls and fluffy bangs on Tuesday night’s episode of 19 Kids and Counting — but the makeover wasn’t necessarily by choice.

Duggar, visited by her pal Cindy, revealed she hadn’t changed her look in almost 40 years, so was treated to a haircut (she lost eight inches!) and a sleek, straight blowout. But the reality star wasn’t so in love with her look.

“Wow, it’s definitely different,” she said somewhat tepidly when looking into the mirror. Later, when asked how she felt about the ‘do, she replied she’d “learn to love it.” However, by the end of the episode, Duggar’s curls and big bangs were back — so we can’t imagine she loved the look that much.

Though the makeover was short-lived — we’ll have to see if she keeps the style — we think the mom of 19 looked great! What do you think? Tell us: Did you like Duggar’s new ‘do?

Her before look is so dated!! I think she should give the new look another try :)

I like the curly hair better.

Her new hairstyle looks so classy on her. She should’ve definitely kept it. :)

OMG! She looks like she has stepped into the 21st century. She may even go out and vote now or get a drivers license.

She looks more like a woman then a baby machine. She looks so silly anyway. ai hope she’s done breeding for her creepy husband. I hope the kids get some freedon also and nor get married so quick and have tons of kids.

I thought it was interesting how their daughters wanted to give their Dad a makeover but did not like their Mom’s makeover. I thought she looked GREAT and not so out of date. In the beginning all the girls pretty much had the same hairstyle too. UGH!

Now I guess all the other girls in the family will have to follow suit and change their hair too- since they all have the same hair helmet!

The new style didn’t look stiff like the old one always does.It would be so much easier to take care of too and she could put it up with a clip around the house.I was dissappointed that she didn’t see the beauty of it over the old style.

To Fluffy who said, “The new style was so much better, but I guess she didn’t like it. Too bad she has to live such an old fashioned life.”

She doesn’t have to, she chooses to. Happily. That is what makes up her life, and just because it’s outside your box and makes you look at her like she’s a bug on your shirt doesn’t mean she’s forced to or miserable.

I don’t agree with their lifestyle (19 kids — seriously?), but the simpler life, I certainly do.

She tried their hairstyle, didn’t like it and went back to what made her comfortable. So she’s not all ‘modern’. So what? It doesn’t affect your life in any which way whatsoever.
