What’s Up with Lauren Conrad’s A-Line Dress Obsession?

“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” must be Lauren Conrad‘s style mantra. Because while traveling across the country for her book tour, the author has worn an A-line mini for Every. Single. Stop.

Conrad kicked off her promo trip in New York City, where the silhouette made its first appearance in the form of a lacy yellow Yoana Baraschi dress (available for $288 at Anthropologie).

At her second pit stop in Fairless Hills, Penn., Conrad opted for a shorter fit-and-flare rose brocade Erin by Erin Fetherston design, followed by a tangerine Harlyn mini in Miami Beach. Also worth noting: She didn’t just repeat the style, but she also accessorized each look in a similar way, with pale pumps, loose waves and a nude lip.

Well, this is certainly a fitting job for bombshell actress Penélope Cruz: The star and her equally smoking-hot sister, Mónica, are teaming up with luxury lingerie maker Agent Provocateur to help create the brand’s first diffusion collection, L’Agent.

As reported by WWD, the line will feature bras, briefs, thongs and corsets, with the average price set at $64, which is way cheaper than the cost of an Agent Provocateur design. (Some of their pieces go for as much as $1,190!)

CEO Garry Hogarth describes the new venture as “a little younger, and perhaps less sophisticated than the main line, but very wearable, very sexy and with the handwriting of Agent Provocateur.”

If you aren’t keeping up with the Kardashians, an easy way to figure out what’s going on in Kim’s world is to take a whiff of her newest scent.

“I can tell where I was in life when I made each perfume,” Kim Kardashian told PEOPLE during an early-morning chat on Wednesday. “Every fragrance means something different to me.”

Her newest creation, Glam, was released this summer, but the reality star started working on it more than a year ago — right before she began filming season seven of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (that also happens to be around the same time she began dating Kanye West). “My personality and my mood was light and fun — and I can see that [in Glam],” she adds.

Kardashian’s happiness translated into the juicy, fruity and white floral scent. “It’s a little bit more electric [than the others]. It’s the most energetic,” she explained. Her mood also was reflected in the bottle. “We made it a brighter pink because I wanted it to be a little loud … It’s the pop of color in my fragrances.”

Jeweler to the stars Neil Lane has a secret.

“I don’t think anyone knows,” he tells PEOPLE in the clip above, but “I never wanted to be a jewelry designer — I wanted to be an artist.” Good thing he changed his mind!

Known for his glimmering engagement rings (and now his line for Kay jewelers), Lane also lends out gems for big events; and believes he was in the right place at the right time when Hollywood got even more glam in the 1990s.

Heidi Klum is known for her incredible, over-the-top Halloween costumes, and the get-up she plans to wear this Oct. 31 won’t disappoint: the supermodel is dressing up as one very sexy Cleopatra.

In a behind-the-scenes video on the star’s website, she takes us from her first concept meeting (telling the costume designer to create something “Big. Gold. Glittery.”) to her final fitting.

The intricate ensemble boasts a crystal-covered headpiece, a racy, cleavage-baring gold gown and a feathered cape. And amazingly, the designer promises it won’t even be all that heavy — which is good since she’ll be dancing the night away at her annual Halloween party in New York.

Rebecca Romijn: I Sometimes ‘Get the Itch’ to Go Brunette

When Rebecca Romijn decided to lighten up her hair recently, she wanted the color to be strong, but subtle.

“I don’t change my look much, because I’m a mom, and on a day-to-day basis I have to be as low-maintenance as possible,” she tells PEOPLE. “But heading into red carpet season, you have to figure out how to make your hair look as great as possible, as often as possible.”

So Romijn tapped stylist Dean Roybal, owner of Planet Salon in Beverly Hills, to lighten her locks using Wella’s new Illumina color (the star is a spokeswoman for the brand). Now, “I’m the same blonde I’ve always been, but it’s just beautiful,” she says. “It’s got this added translucency.”

Illumina, hitting salons in January, is a new line of permanent color that keeps hair as close to its virgin state as possible. “I was one of the first people to get to try it, and it’s amazing,” Romijn says. “My hair feels so good, and I’m thrilled.”

Romijn, a natural blonde, keeps her color looking bright with regular touch-ups. But she’s not against a drastic change, either.
